
Even in these tumultuous days, the mission of ENC remains as transformative as it has ever been, and I am eager to work with all those who love ENC as I do to help translate that mission into its next phase. “It has been a privilege serving in the role of Interim Academic Dean this year, and I’m humbled by the trust that has been placed in me with this assignment. He resides in Quincy with his wife and two children. degrees in African History from Boston University. in History from Point Loma Nazarene University, and M.A. He has also been instrumental in the launch of ENC’s first fully online programs. McCoy has been a member of the history faculty at ENC since 2005 and has served in many administrative capacities as well, including Chair of the History Department, Chair of the Division of General Education, and Director of the Honors Scholar Society. These accomplishments are a tribute to his administrative skills, expertise, and perseverance, and I look forward to his long-term leadership of the academic enterprise here at ENC.”ĭr. “During his year as Interim Dean, he skillfully guided our faculty through the many challenges of the pandemic and simultaneously completed the self-study for our decennial reaccreditation.
